Q. How come there are no prices on your site?
Good question. The easy answer is that it's impossible to accurately quote for a job unless we know what the customer wants. "How much does it cost to clean a room?" sounds like a simple question, but how big is the room? What's in it? How often do you want it clean? Are there precious items in there? The list goes on. We could put some vague prices on the site but it seems disingenuous to the customer when the price for what you really need may be higher or much lower than displayed. We'd rather meet with you, in person, see what you need then provide you with a free, no-obligation, no-pressure quote. If you're happy with it, then we'll arrange to start work at a mutually convenient time. If not, then we'll wish you well and thank you for the interest in The Lemon Cleaning Company. Simple as that.
Q. Do I need to have a deep cleanse before I hire you?
No. Absolutely not. If you don't want or need a deep cleanse before we start work, then we won't provide one. We do offer a deep clean as an additional part of our cleaning service, but that isn't mandatory at all. We believe you have the right to decide the work we do for you, not the other way around.
Q. Are your staff all vetted and checked?
Oh yes! All the staff at The Lemon Cleaning Company are checked via the Disclosure and Barring Service, formerly known as the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check. If you'd like to see the documentation before hiring us, please just ask and we'll be more than happy to provide it.
Q. Is all your equipment tested for safety?
It most certainly is! All our electrical equipment is covered by an annual PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) certificate provided by our friends at Electrical Village. If you need any sort electrical work doing, we would heartily recommend them.
Q. I have allergies, is this a problem?
Not at all. If you let us know when we meet we'll do our very best to accommodate. It's worth pointing out that our ironing service is always done in a pet-free, smoke-free home, so the only thing your ironing will come back to you smelling of, is freshness!
Q. Do you have any reviews I can look at?
Absolutely. We believe our customers and their opinions are the very best source of advertising for us and are incredibly proud of the reputation we have built. We have a Testimonials page on this very website that collates the best of them, but we also have reviews on external sites including Yell.com, Yelp, Facebook, Scoot and Google (just search for us to see).
